Ever walk into one of those shops dedicated solely to the promotion of tea leaves and china. Well, there’s one such shop but it’s located in the heart of the famous Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne, Australia.

If you are a first time visitor to Melbourne, the Queen Victoria Market is a must-see. It is absolutely one of the most organised and pretty markets I have ever seen.

You know what markets are like in most countries but this one puts them, or most of them, to shame. It is clean, well-stocked and quite well laid-out. Why is it that we always find markets like this overseas and not at home. We can actually have markets of this standard in our own beloved country.

All we need is commitment and a huge sense of pride. OK, let’

Monash Campus in Subang Jaya – new kid on the block March 19, 2008

It is my personal and biased opinion that the fairly new Monash University campus in Subang Jaya is one of the finest in Klang Valley.

I have been inside some of the oldest and more established campuses around the country and few ever impressed me. Not this one. The Monash campus which is about a year old is a mirror image of the other Monash campus in Melbourne, Australia.

Yes, the fees are a bit on the high side but the facilities are okay. Good atmosphere too. In case, you are wondering, no, I don’t work there. Neither am I receiving a commission for giving it a favourable report. It is simply, one of the better-looking university campuses around this country.

Don’t believe me. Go and take a look.
