Much of Petaling Street’s attractions comes from the quaint stalls and many of the foreigners who are hired to run the stalls on behalf of absentee landlords.

Some of the workers who are probably from Bangladesh or elsewhere may not be so proficient in English. That’s where the fun starts!

You should try the stall which opens at about 6pm. It is located next to the Hong Leong Bank (corner building).

Dishes (very spicy) are wrapped in tin foil and cooked over fire. Great stuff. Get a party of four or five, then you can order more dishes.

Drink lots of soya bean to counteract the spiciness!
