Underground tunnel links KTM headquarters to the old railway station August 6, 2006

As can be observed from the right foreground of the picture, there’s a tunnel that links the KTM Hq to the railway station on the opposite side of the busy road.

Some foreigner experts are of the opinion that despite the popular notion that many of KL’s beautiful buildings are of Moorish-style, the more accurate assessment would be that the early British architects had actually borrowed ideas from India.

 The design pattern are similar to the Moghul architecture of India where domes and “chatris” are included. In KL, the famous buildings have these characteristics.
