Ice Kacang – It’s cold, sweet and awfully delicious August 17, 2006

What we have before our eyes here is a humungus-looking machine, not for making shoes, but for making shredded ice. The bits of ice is for one of Malaysia’s most beloved hawker item called the Ice Kacang.

Children who are not insane love it, regardless of race, colour or creed. Ice kacang consists of peanuts, leong fun, bits of sweetened corn, red beans, and some other stuff that only the hawkers themselves know.

The machine makes it all possible.
