Koay Chaep – Hokkien’s gastronomical love affair August 17, 2006

The guy above sells “koay chaep”. It is a dish that is loved by the Teochew and hokkien communities.

This hawker fare is fast becoming a rarity because the older generation loved it and the younger generation of hawkers think that it involves too much work and too little returns.

The stall above is found in Cintra Street, Penang.
