Peeking through the mist of Shangri-La August 27, 2006

This is what it’s like at about 2,300 metres above sea level on top of a volcanic area.

The temperature is about 14 degrees centigrade. The mist is thick and the villagers on top of this Taiwan mountainous area couldn’t be happier. It reminds me of a time before civilisation took hold of humanity.
