Red’s the colour of prosperity and all things good. September 5, 2006

A long, long time ago in a place far, far away called China, someone decided that red was the colour for the nation and the people.

Somehow, the idea stuck and today, in all those temples and palaces where Chinese royalty and wealthy so deigned to stay, we have the colour red on walls, pillars, including blinds.
