A stroke of the Chinese brush turns paper into treasure September 13, 2006

Those who study Chinese calligraphy know only too well that the kind of brushes one uses determine the final outcome of the picture.

Whether the final product is just a series of Chinese characters or a few bamboo plants, the strokes, executed by breath control, have stories to tell.
