For those of you who are unfamiliar with the stalls that line the narrow walkway leading up to the Kek Lok Si Temple in Penang, permit me to enlighten you.

It is the hagglers’ haven and heaven. There are almost uncountable number of trinklets and souvenirs that will make you trip to Penang memorable. Don’t forget to bargain. At the same time, don’t be too reckless with your powers of persuasion.
