First-time visitors to Melbourne, Australia will surely go a bit nuts over the “new things” they see.

For me, I couldn’t get enough of their hats – farmer’s hats, Dundee hats (with real croc teeth) and other bush hats. Immediately after buying one for a dirt-cheap price,  I wore it in my city walks.

Surprisingly, the Chinese presence in the big happy city of Melbourne can be felt. Chinatown was prominently dominated by those who seem to have settled down from the mainland!

The boomerangs at the top picture were on sale at the famous Queen Victoria market. Nice items to give to friends and folks back home. Melbourne is home to many of those who have moved from Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and even Malaysia.
