The sun’s at 12 o’clock and the fish are hiding June 6, 2007Posted by asianpixmen in Activities, Fauna/Animals, Malaysia, People, Places.
There ‘s a bit of a fisherman in all of us. Just the other day, I was at Kuala Selangor again (where else better?). I spotted two guys trying their luck with the fish beneath the murky waters.
Trouble was, the sun was scorching but man’s determination could not be underestimated. Even though I didn’t seen their catches, I could not help admiring their perseverance.
One chap was trying his luck with a casting net and the other with a rod and line. If there was anything I learnt from that observation was patience. Fishing is a game of patience, of determination and an optimism that just refused to be defeated by the sun, the heat and the humidity.
