The graceful dancers from the Land of Smiles July 5, 2007

It’s a treat to see Thai women dancers performing right before your eyes. It’s one thing to watch such a performance on TV and quite another to view it on stage.

These three Thai dancers put up a most splendid performance one day at Tesco in Mutiara Damansara. Thai folk dancing falls under the categories of Khon, Lakhon and Fawn Thai.

Frankly, I don’t know which is which but it is one aspect  of Thai culture that I am most impressed with. These ladies did it most effortlessly and their harmony in steps and well coordinated body movements revealed that they were truly in tune with one another.
