Symbols of spirituality and devotion July 8, 2007

This is the frontage of the Mariamman Temple in Jalan Tun H.S. Lee in Kuala Lumpur. It is one of the most attractive sites in the heart of the city.

It also happens to be a very popular house of worship for Hindus. Once a year, there’s a procession (as I recall) that begins from this temple. Every visitor to KL should take a look at the interior which has statues and other artefacts of great religious significance.
