Murtabak’s the way to go October 3, 2007Posted by asianpixmen in Culture, Food, Malaysia, People, Places.
This is the month of Ramadan. The month also marks the appearance of Ramadan bazaars throughout the country, in big, medium and small towns.
The variety of food is mind-boggling and I among the many visit these bazaars for quick takeaways.
The women above are making murtabak. It is one of the more popular delicacies, peculiar to the Malaysian palate. At RM2 a pop for chicken or beef, the queues are usually quite long. That reminds me, I must drop by at one of these stalls later.
