Find serenity in Kek Look Tong (Ipoh) December 18, 2007

Posted by asianpixmen in Craft, Culture, Malaysia, Places.

Kek Look Tong is considered one of the “newest” cave temples in Ipoh. Its present look was constructed in 1984. Perak has about 40 such caves. Some are very old. Some are considered “infants”. Kek Look Tong is one of them.

If you like cave temples, this one will give you enormous pleasure. The interior as well as the exterior have been carefully thought out and constructed.

It exudes a certain tranquillity that’s common among such caves. The roads leading to Kek Look Tong wind through a residential estate but there are plenty of signs to keep you in the right direction. There’s something about mountains and the ambience that prevails in its grounds.
