From Kangar to Kota Belud – Land of master craftsmen April 6, 2008

You don’t really know your own country until you, like me, visit a crafts exposition, which I did about two hours ago.

Boy, was I bowled over. No encyclopedia in the country can open up your mind like a see-it-for-yourself experience. I was really impressed.

I am also terribly proud of these unheralded master craftsmen. They are truly the kind of people you would want all schoolchildren to meet. Better than browsing a thousand hours in the library.
