It seemed only yesterday that dumplings were the exclusive mainstay of the Chinese community. But that was in the old days.
Nowadays, everybody eats pau. The Chinese of course have their own varieties – hundreds of them. The Malays too have their own specialty paus.
Simply put, pau is good for a quick fix, especially when you are hungry and you need something hot to go with the big glass of Nes-lo, teh-tarik or kopi-o keras.
