It’s September now and we have three more big festive occasions to celebrate before the Chinese New Year falls on us like the showers of fireworks that lit up the sky every New Year.

My photo album jolted my memory banks of the CNY occasion only about 8 months ago. It will be Hari Raya, Deepavali and Christmas before we get to meet the Ox or buffalo or bull, depending on how you perceive the coming Chinese New Year.

Kong Hee Fatt Choy or Gong Xi Fa Cai in advance. Wow, it’s ang pow time. Those single girls are swarming around like bees again for a big “handover”!
